Weekly update

Under the framework of "Trade and Investment Facilitation" in Supplement V to the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA), Intellectual Property Department (IPD) and the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce (TMO/SAIC) have established the Trademark Working Co-ordination Group to institutionalize a regular communication mechanism to strengthen exchanges and co-operation in areas such as trademark registration and trademark protection.
As a co-operation item under the Trademark Working Co-ordination Group, IPD has launched the "Mainland and Hong Kong Trademark Column" in our website on 26.4.2009. Please click here for viewing the Column.

(3) Update of e-filing
The Intellectual Property Department has been providing e-filing services to our customers since December 2003, bringing a real time e-culture to intellectual property registration services. The latest update is as follows:
