Every year on April 26, World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and its Member States celebrate World Intellectual Property Day (World IP Day) in order to promote discussion of the role of intellectual property (IP) in encouraging innovation and creativity. Organised by the Intellectual Property Department and Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong, co-organised by Wan Chai District Council, “Creativity‧Infinity” event will be held at Causeway Bay pedestrian zone on 5 November 2017 (Sunday). The event aims to provide a platform for young people to share and exchange their creative ideas, stimulate their imagination and creativity, encourage them to create every possibility in their daily lives, as well as to raise their awareness on intellectual property protection.
With a view to establishing a closer link between creativity and the community, this “Creativity‧Infinity” large scale street event consists of product showcase, interactive and game experience, fashion and music performances. The products include product design, 3D printing figures, innovation and technology inventions etc.; Interactive and Game Experience Zones will include sign-translation gloves, underwater robotics, interactive robots, AR game, VR game and coding workshop etc. which allow the general public to experience the joy brought by creativity; acoustic music performance will also offer the audience a totally refreshing experience.
To boldly break the limits of imagination, home-grown typeface design will crossover local young fashion designer, combining remarkable dance choreography and classic music, to demonstrate chic and stunning fashion shows.
